Created Byhand Weekly Challenge - Flourishes

Last week's challenge at Created Byhand was flourishes. For my card I used one of Quietfire Designs new sentiments! I just love this flourished calligraphy. I also used a paper with flourishes in the background, as well as a small flourished stamp in the corner. I didn't really get the look I was going for in this card. I was trying for something elegant, that you could give on wedding day, but it's just missing something? If you have any suggestions, please leave a comment! I would love to hear your suggestions as how I could finish this card, to give it a more elegant look.

Thanks for stopping by tonight,

I think this card is beautifully elegant. Perfect for a wedding card. I don't know that I'd change a thing, it's great just the way it is.

But, since you asked...lol
The only thing that I might change would be to move the butterfly over and reposition it 45 degrees to the left so that it's sitting on the edge of the white sentiment layer, facing the word 'hand.' Then, where the butterfly was originally, I'd add another flourish like the one that you used on the bottom corner. Does that make sense? Just a thought. :)

Hope you're having a great weekend! Take care and I'll see ya soon!

Hugs,
Julie

This is beautiful Kim! The lettering was originally done for a parent and child - but I really *really* love that you've used it for a wedding theme!!!
