Christmas Recipe Starbook

Well, I finally did it! I made a starbook! I want to make some of these for Christmas gifts this year! I will do some as recipe books, drink recipes, and some as small memory albums. The cover of the book is done with velvet. It is stamped with gold pigment ink, then embossed with gold. The tag the ribbon goes thru was silver, it's embossed with utee, then stamped a snowflake into the utee. All stamps used on the book are Impression Obsession. The recipe cards are stamped but I have no idea who makes that stamp. I am sure they would be easy enough to print out and make your own.
Thanks for stopping by, and I hope your having a wonderful day!
:)

Oh Kim, this is simply gorgeous! The colours are just amazing together!

I've wanted to try one of these star books for some time now...I see Deja is running a class soon on them, too. I have a pattern for it, but I just need to sit down and take the time to tackle it, I guess! lol :)

Hope you having a great weekend! Talk to ya soon!

Hugs,
Julie

I just stopped by your blog to leave you a message about a new forum starting up. Remember cococat from Simply Sentiments? you'll find lots of familiar faces here. We just thought we'd get word out to some of the "old timers"
