Quietfire Christmas

I made this card a while back, and I finally get to share it with you.  I recently bought a Silhouette cutter, and have been having so much fun with it.  It’s an amazing machine and you can make your own design files out of vector images, or any .jpg images as well.  I can’t take the credit for this cutting file though, my friend Val’s husband made this cutting file for us.  The Poinsettia is cut on the Silhouette.

The beautiful sentiment is from Quietfire Design.  Suzanne has the most gorgeous calligraphy stamps. If you haven’t been to the Quietfire site yet, you really should!  I also used a small snowflake Quietfire stamp on the background, it may be hard to see in the picture though.

For instructions and supply list, please go here.

Urgh…looking at this now, I see that the saying is a bit lopsided…too late to fix it now!  Try to not notice it, especially now that I have pointed that out to you! LOL

Thank you for stopping by today,

:)

Oh my!!!
That is just stunning Kim.

Just popped by to ask if you received the stamps I sent you?
I wrote you a longish letter too but you won't have got that.......simply because I just found it in the basket where I keep all of my padded envies. It either fell out of your package or I forgot to put it in so huge apologies if you received the parcel and it seemed unfriendly with no note or anything.

Hi Kim -

Crooked? What's crooked, not your card, that's for sure! I think you did a wonderful job. THe poinsettia is just beautiful, the saying is lovely and the colors are just so pretty. So all in all, nothing crooked as far as I can see!

Kim I have admired your card ever since it was first posted. I have wanted to know what die was used for the pointsettia. I called Suzanne but she wasn't sure and told me to contact you. I just love the slit in the petals and the colors you have used. It is just a very lovely card.
