Hi there,
Last weekend we had our monthly ladies stamping group. It was my turn to think up a project for us to do. So, I decided to show the ladies how to use distress inks on your teflon sheet, and then spray with water, and drag your paper through. You can keep doing this to deepen the colours. After we did this, we dried the paper and distressed it and then distressed the next layer as well. Omgosh, it was so noisy, I brought my Zutter Distressing machine! Thank goodness Joan’s hubby was out, or I am sure he would have kicked this noisy bunch out of his house!! We had a blast! The stamp set we used is from Unity, and I just love it. After the card was assembled, we used a sparkle spray on it, and in real life it shimmers like crazy, but I couldn’t capture that in the photo. I had a bit of a hard time, as this is my last crafty night with the girls, as we are moving in a couple weeks now. Have I mentioned how much I am going to miss everyone? lol
The next card we did was instructed by Val. We made a corset card. I love this! We cut out the template and traced it, and traced the back for the card as well. We added lace and pearls, and did some stamping with a Tim Holtz stamp. I wish I had distressed the edges, but I can still do that! Thank you so much Val! Love this card!
Thank you so much for stopping by, and have a great day!
Kim
