This week at Created Byhand, the ladies decided to give us an easy challenge since it's such a busy time for everyone. This is my contribution for the challenge.This card is done with a stamp that my b/f Flower gave me, not sure who makes it though. The sentiment is from Quietfire Design. Omgosh, I just love the beautiful calligraphy that Suzanne from Quietfire does! She is truly amazing. The woman image was stamped with black Ancient page ink, the painted in with tombow ink and watercolour brush, using very little water so the paper doesn't warp. Then I used a few different Distress Inks to make the image look older. I was trying to go for a very vintage type card. Snowflakes were punched, then tiny pearls were put on top when they were adhered to the card.
The patterned paper is from Daisy D. Have to find a few more sheets before they run out, I just love the snowflakes on this paper.
