Stampotique Challenge – Think outside the box

This week’s challenge on the Stampotique Designers Challenge blog is to create something you wouldn’t normally do.  Challenge yourself to try something new.  I decided to alter a wooden box.  I cut and glued patterned paper onto the box.  I distressed it a bit once it was all put together, using distress inks.  I then stamped Frida, from Stampotique Originals, onto a piece of paper and distressed it a bit as well.  I used the new Tim Holtz tattered flowers die to make the flower, and sewed a piece of lace to make a flower for underneath.  The feet and all other metal findings are Tim Holtz.OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

We would love it if you have time to play in our challenge this week!  You can find the details here.  It is Stampotique only stamps this time.  The next challenge will be open themed.

Thank you for stopping by tonight!

Digital Image and Flower Challenge

Hi there,

I have a couple challenge cards to share with you.  I completely forgot to take pictures, so Val and Julie kindly took pictures and emailed them to me.  Thanks so much ladies!

This card was done for a Digital Image challenge, we were to use a digital image on our card.  I really like this Martini Girl from Sassy Studio Designs.  She was a blast to color and glitter up.

This second card was done for a flower challenge.  We were to make a flower of some kind and put it on our card.  I used about a million (ok..maybe not quite) pieces of tissue paper cut with a Nestibility, layered them up and crumpled.  I think it looks much better in person, but you get the idea.

Thank you so much for stopping by,

Have a wonderful evening,

Stampotique Designers Challenge – Girly Girl

This weeks challenge over at Stampotique Designers Challenge Blog is Girly Girl.  It was my turn to pick, and of course, you know me well enough to know I would pick something like this…lol

My card uses all Stampotique Originals stamps, and they can all be found here.  I just can’t help but giggle when using these quirky stamps, they are just so much fun.

I also used the new Tim Holtz distress inks and Tim’s new paper on this card!  Have you seen his new 12 x 12 paper pads?  Omgosh….they are just beautiful!

To play along with this challenge and have a chance to win some GORJUSS rubber, you can find all the details here.  This is the first challenge of the month which means this challenge is open to any stamps.  If you don’t have any Stampotique rubber stamps yet, this is the perfect opportunity to play…you may win some!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!
