Merry Christmas Everyone!

Good Morning,

I just wanted to wish everyone a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS! It is such a busy time of year, and we often get to busy to enjoy the simple things in life. So, I hope you can all slow down a bit, and just enjoy this special time of year with your loved ones!

We are enjoying our stay in Sudbury, with our family and friends! Lots of visiting, eating (yikes) and some drinking (not me, I am the designated driver...lol). It is amazing how things can change in a matter of 2 years, since we were last back home! All the kids are growing up, the city is building up, but somethings don't change at all, like sitting at home and playing cards with the in-laws! I am loving our stay, but have to admit I am looking forward to going home and settling back into "real life" again! lol I am missing my stamping.....I am so bad! lol

Well, I won't keep you long here....
Have a Merry Christmas, and all the Very Best to you in 2008!
:)

Away for the Holidays!

Morning Everyone!

We safely made it to Sudbury and are having a nice time catching up with family and friends! We weren't sure we would have internet connection where we are staying, but we do!! Yeah!! I can't imagine going 3 weeks without being online at all! lol....I hope you are all week and are all ready for Christmas! We have a bit more shopping to do, then we can sit back and relax.

Must run, but have a wonderful day!!
Merry Christmas Everyone!

Exciting News for Me!

Last week I was approached by the manager of my store, and asked if I would be interested in a new position rolling out in 14 of our stores next week! I read all the information and YES I am SO interested! I went to training last week and am starting my new role as of today! I will be the Employee Experience Co-ordinator (EEC), my new job entails doing all the hiring for our store, and follow-up with all new employees for 6 months! This is a wonderful promotion, and a great opportunity for me! YEAH!!

Wish me luck!!! lol...I am going to need lots of it! lol

Tuesday

I love Impression Obsession!

I just love all the new stamps at Impression Obsession! They are just gorgeous! The snowflakes are my favorite so far! So here I am posting another snowflake card! lol

The background paper is Figgy Pudding and is available at the Embellish-it online store! The snowflake is IO, then I stamped one of the snowflakes from the Basic Grey, Oh Baby, set and embossed with Diamond Ice powder. I just did this so there would be more sparkles on this card. The picture doesn't do this card justice, as there are a bunch of swarovski crystals on it, and it blings! lol

Have a great day everyone!
:)

Ornaments

Morning!

I made this card the other night, using die cut ornaments. I stamped the ornaments with snowflakes and versamark, then embossed using white embossing powder. Then dye ink was smeared over top, creating a resist. You then take a papertowel and lightly wipe off the embossed areas so they "pop". The background of the card was done with Basic Grey clear stamps, and I am so pleased with them! They gave me a crisp clear image first time using them! The snowflakes and swirls in the background are from the "Santa Baby" set, and is available at the Embellish-it online store! The Merry Christmas stamp is from Stamp in the Hand. Not sure who made the snowflakes on the ornaments, but if I had had the Basic Grey set when I did the ornaments I would have used that! They have GORGEOUS snowflakes on this set!

I have more cards to post, just trying to get some good light....urgh...so dreary here today!

Have a great day!

Double Take Thursday!

Welcome to Double Take Thursday!

Today Beth Norman and I challenged each other to use a Tim Holtz stamp, distress ink, and an edge distresser. What fun I had with this one, and I promised myself I wouldn't look at Beth's til I uploaded mine! I can't wait to see what she came up with! This is our second week with the challenges. We will be taking a break next week as Beth will be out of town, but will be back with the challenges the following week!

I used all Tim Holtz stamps, except for the sayings, they are from CTMH. I used Cosmo Cricket papers, walnut stain distress ink on the edges, and versafine black for stamping the images. White embossing powder for the words. And I also used my signo white gel pen to accent a bit. I really love these kind of cards, shabby chic. It doesn't have to be perfect and you can really make them look old! All the edges of the layers were distressed with the edge distresser.

Be sure to drop over to Beth's blog to check out her card, that is where I am heading now! Be sure to check out Beth's great tutorials while you are there!
Thanks for the challenge this week Beth!!

Outlines Christmas Card

Hi there!

I have been trying to get some stamping done the past few days! This morning I came up with this card, but the pic isn't the greatest! lol...I used cream, burgundy and gold shimmer c/s, stardust stickles, outlines rubber stamp and a swarovski crystal in the center. All layers are raised with foam dots, except the bottome layer. I think I will give this to someone closeby as I think it would be ruined in the mail, plus cost a fortune to mail! Lol

Well, I am off to stamp again!
Have a great day everyone!

Thursday

Double Take Thursdays!

This is something new, that I am doing with Beth Norman. We are challenging each other weekly, to use either a specific item, technique, stamp...and we will post our creations on Thursdays. I am very excited about this and can't wait to see what Beth created today!
For our first challenge we did a tin foil technique. You use heavy duty tin foil, then use the alcohol inks on it, and then run it thru the cuttlebug using one of the embossing folders. It turns out beautiful! The person who inspired this technique challenge for me was Suzy over at Papermonkey, she has a wonderful blog with some awesome tutorials.

I tried to take a good picture but it is overcast here today, and not much light. I will try to get a better picture to show off the glitter on the snowflake later today or tomorrow. If you click on the picture, it will enlarge and you can have a better look at the background! Please be sure to go over to Beth's blog and see her creation as well. Beth also has some wonderful tutorials to try out!! Thanks for asking me to do this with you Beth!

Thanks for stopping by!

Sunday

I think my Mojo may be back!

Today I went to a baby shower for a coworker, and had to make a card. I tell ya, this is the first card I have made in a long time that I really like! lol The carriage and sentiment is from Impression Obesession, and in the background is one of the clear stamps from a set at M's, stamped with tea dye distress ink. If you click on the picture above, you will see the lightly stamped flower swirl in the background. The images are stamped with versafine sepia ink, and all layers are also sponged on the edges with the versafine ink. Ribbon is from M's, and heart charm is from my stash. The main image is popped up with pop dots. It's funny how just one little card can improve my spirits.....I can't wait to stamp tomorrow night! lol

Have a great evening everyone!

Thursday

Meet me at the Cafe...

Another GORGEOUS set from My Favorite Things! Honestly, you just have to check them out! lol....I did this on shimmer c/s and copics....it is so shimmery...I don't know if you can tell in the pic though. The awning is part of the set, and is cut out and layerd on top. All stamps are from MFT. The little filagree corners are just stamping in black and then I put a bit of purple glitter to add a bit of Bling! A girl just has to have bling.....I sure wish it was me sitting in the pic enjoying a nice glass of wine with a good friend! Ah....stamping is fun too though!

I took a pic from the side as well, so you could see it was dimensional, and was hoping to show some of the shimmer. The colours in the sideview aren't true like the frontal view of the card. Amazing how lighting and angle can make it look so very different!

Have a wonderful evening!
:)

Think Pink

I bought this stamp set from My Favorite Things. If you haven't checked out their stamps yet....do it! They are just so much fun. I wanted to make some cards for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, but ended up sick for most of the month. I am still hoping to sell some and donate the money, or donate the cards, whichever is best! I wanted to make them bright and cheerful, and I think that was accomplished with the bright colours! I used a combination of Copics and Prismacolour Markers to colour the image in. I first stamped and embossed with black. The background is stamped with a cool heart ribbon that came with the set, with versamark. The ribbons on their chests are coloured with pink, you just can't tell very well with my pic!

Thanks for looking!
:)

Happy Halloween!

Hi Everyone!

I know you all think I have disappeared, but I was quite sick for awhile there, things are getting back to normal now! Thanks for being patient with me once again!

This is a card I made a few weeks back using some of the new Inkdinkado stamps! I saw a card on a blog (can't remember whose blog though, sorry), that made a card quite like this, and I loved it, so I made one and changed it a bit. The bat stamp is so awesome, it has swirls coming out the sides, the corner swirls are from the bat stamp. I just stamped, embossed and cut the bats out. I have never made Halloween cards, but had alot of fun making this one, and have a few more Halloween themed stamps to use....so you will probably see a few more before the month is over!

Have a great evening everyone!

Christmas Recipe Starbook

Well, I finally did it! I made a starbook! I want to make some of these for Christmas gifts this year! I will do some as recipe books, drink recipes, and some as small memory albums. The cover of the book is done with velvet. It is stamped with gold pigment ink, then embossed with gold. The tag the ribbon goes thru was silver, it's embossed with utee, then stamped a snowflake into the utee. All stamps used on the book are Impression Obsession. The recipe cards are stamped but I have no idea who makes that stamp. I am sure they would be easy enough to print out and make your own.
Thanks for stopping by, and I hope your having a wonderful day!
:)

Monday

Amaze

My friend also picked up this set from Technique Tuesday! I was so excited to get my hands on these stamps! I just love them. For this card I decided that I would like the dramatic look of the black and white. I stamped and embossed the petals of the flower with black and cut them out. I then put a tiny bit of tape on the inside tips and laid them down, then put a hole in the center and put a big brad in. I did all the layers, then lastly I put a pop dot on the end of each petal so it would really stand out. I then used double sided foam tape to mount it all on a white card base. I can't wait to put this stamp to use again! lol...This time some colours for sure!

Have a good one!
:)
Kim
p.s....I think my camera and I are on our way to being friends....I am slowly learning...lol

3 Bees

A friend picked this stamp up for me in London, Ontario! I just love this stamp, it's just too cute! I used the prismacolour markers on this card, and some stickles on the wings and on the word stamp as well. Bees are from Stampendous, and word is from Hero Arts. This card just makes me smile, and the colours are so bright and cheery!
Thanks for stopping by!

Hmmm...I know the ribbon is lopsided, should have fixed that before I took the pic....lol..to dark out now..will take another tomorrow!

Good Friends are Priceless

Woohooo...I have new stamps!! lol...Seriously I am so spoiled! I just got some of the sets from My Favorite Things, and I LOVE them! lol...This is the first card I did with them using the ladies and sentiment. I stamped and embossed with black (yes, same problem as below, the black seems to flake off? Old powder?) then coloured with the Prismacolor Markers. I love how these markers work, no lines at all, everything just blends so nicely. I then added a piece of lime green ribbon and tied 3 pieces of raspberry ribbon onto it. I know the ribbon looks red in the picture, will try to get a better picture this afternoon when the sun is really shining! For now, you will just have to take my word for it that it's raspberry (bright pink)....Otherwise you all might think I am colour blind! lol

Have a great day everyone!
:)
Kim

edited to add: I did take a new photo, hopefully it shows pink ribbon now! lol

Outlines Mandala Card

Morning Ladies!

I did this card a few days ago, but couldn't get a decent picture because it's been so dark and dreary here in Nova Scotia. I am going to try to get a better picture later today, but this will do.

The stamp is from Outlines Rubber Stamps, and was stamped and embossed with black on 2 different colours, 5 times. Then I cut out to of the whole mandala and that is the base, then cut 3 more at different places, then layered and pop dotted each layer. When it was all put together I added stickles and a crystal in the center. I found the cutting relaxing and think I will make more of these for sure! The only thing I had trouble with is my black embossing powder. It seemed to flake off. Maybe my powder is old? Not quite sure, but this didn't happen with the silver one I did. This one won't get mailed out for sure, as the parts that have flaked off catch my eye more than anything else about the card! LOL

Thanks for looking!

Believe in Friends

I decided to try the cling wrap technique and really like the look you get! All I did was get a piece of white c/s damp, then brayer with kaliedacolor ink pad, spritz to get it damp again, and srunched up some cling wrap and placed it over top of the inks and water and let it almost dry together. The neat background you get it so cool! I then stamped a Crafty Individuals stamp on it for the main image. The word Believe is from Kodomo, and the flourish is from Inkadinkado. Pretty basic card, but I wanted to leave alot blank so you could actually the the background paper. There was a contest on a store site to make a card using this technique and the deadline was yesterday. I had done my paper a few days ago, but hadn't done a card until last night, I just made it in!! lol There are some other beautiful cards there, so we shall see later today who won!

Thanks for stopping by!

PS: If you haven't entered the contest for my "Blog Bling" , please have a look at the post below!

Wednesday

Impression Obsession and Cuttlebug

Well, I guess I will upload this for now, but will aim for a better picture tomorrow. I didn't have enough light and it was so dark and rainy outside today. Plus I must have been shaking cause it's a bit blurry! lol Sheesh...one day I will learn how to take a good picture!

The snowflake stamp is a new one from Impression Obsession. I just love their new stamps! I just embossed with silver and put stickles in a few of the ends, and a flat back pearl in the middle. I ran the card base folded thru the cuttlebug with the snowflake background. Then I cut slit in the edges to run the silver ribbon thru. I then stamped and silver embossed the snowflake saying on a piece of white linen, then did the edges with silver krylon pen and adhered to the inside covering the back piece of ribbon. After all of this I put doublesided tape on half of the back of the snowflake square and centered it and voila...lol This card was inspired by Dejah.

Thanks for looking and hopefully a better picture will show up tomorrow!

:)
Kim
Edited to add: Took a new pic this morning of the outside of the card, hope it's better than the last one!

Baroque Motif

This is the first card I have made with this set and it's so fast and easy to do a card with these! I am loving this set! Anyway, it's nothing to exciting and the colours didn't scan quite right, but I do like it! I have some more cards to upload but have to wait to take a GOOD picture!! Maybe tomorrow will be a better day for that!

Have a great evening everyone!

Monday

CD cards

I just wanted to share a couple CD cards that I have made with you. They aren't new, but I was browsing thru my files and saw them, and thought why not show them! lol....It's kinda fun to venture outside your box once in awhile and try something new! lol And these were VERY out of the box for me! lol

The first cd is painted with metallic acrylic paints, then stamped and embossed with black. Then I set the cd on a pop can and poured Envirotex over it. I then dropped some crystals into that while it was still good and wet. They are nice and shiney irl, but in the scan it didn't show to well, a couple just look black. While it was wet, I took a straw and gently blew the bubbles out, then let it dry. The background of the card is done with versamark and pearlex. I had alot of fun making this card! It was refreshing to try something a bit different!

The second CD was fun too! Tried something else I had never done, embroidery on a CD! lol....First you have to drill your holes, I have a Rotary Drill with an engraving bit, which is tiny and won't break the cd. Then I embroidered with Metallic Sulky thread. Then stamped on a spirelli shape and fit that in. The backgound was done with soft metallic inks. I think I could have done a better job stamping the center, done something a bit more fancy, but it turned out alright! lol

Thanks so much for dropping by!

Acetate Doodle Card

I know this card is almost exactly the same as a previous card I made, but I really wanted to try using acetate with the Stazon! I love it! I have now bought a few more colours of the pastel Stazon! lol I really am trying to learn how to use my camera, but as you can tell I haven't mastered that yet! But scanning doesn't work at all for some cards, so excuse my photo skills! Lol

All stamps are from SU. I stamped the background paper with doodles and coloured them in wiht Tombow markers. I stamped the SU flower twice on pink shimmer paper, and then did a bit of a wash with twinkling H2o's for more shimmer! I put a big crystal in the center of the flowers once it was adhered to the card base. Gotta love bling of any kind! lol I then stamped the doodles on the acetate in white, and assembled the card. Wherever I used tape, I covered with a matching piece of cardstock on the inside of the card. I used sweet little button brads for the corners, and then put Swarovski crystals inside the rim! That was Deborah idea (and so were the crystals! LOL) as I was doing this card while at her place. Thank you Deborah!

Not sure who does the verse stamp, but I love that stamp. I coloured in the little flowers and used crystals in the centers as well.
Thanks for looking!

Calgon....take me away!

Have you ever had one of those days? Where you say inside your head "Calgon, take me away?" LOL...Lately it's been so hot & humid here, I have been almost living in my bath or shower! I really wish it could take me away! lol...It's even been to humid to stamp, my hands start sweating and then I wreck the c/s. And embossing is awful as well. But I am trying to get some stamping time in later in the evening. I have a bunch of cards that are partly finished but only this one that is done to show you! lol
For this card I stamped on white cardstock, then coloured Bubblebella in with prismacolour pencils and gamsol. I then put stickles on the bubbles. I used the SU tag punch and their new tag stamps for the tag. I then put a little crystal in the middle of the flower, and stamped the verse (Viva Las Vegas). I also stamped the background of the card with a bubble stamp from Rubber Stampede with versamark. All other papers are Bazzill, and the light purple is the Bazzill Bling.

Hope you are all having a wonderful summer day today!

Winner of the "Blog Bling"

The random # generator picked #22, and that is Jennifer, she said:

"Kim, that is wonderful! Congratulations. I can hardly wait to see your designs for The Queen! I think Heather should get the blog bling because she was so creative in her answer that I was giggling reading her solid reasoning for being the one to receive it.(OK...how was that? Did I sound like a gracious person who'd forgo getting bling herself so someone else could? That's a good reason for me, eh?!)Congratulations again and looking forward to seeing more of your beautiful work. "

Congratulations Jennifer! Please email me (link at the right side of my blog) your snail mail address and I will get that out to you right away!

Thank you to everyone for playing along with me! I loved reading all your reasons and wish I could send each and every one of you some bling....but alas, I am not rich! LOL...But I will have more blog bling when I hit 15,000 posts, and that's not too far away!

I was so excited today to get an email from Jo at The Queen's Dresser Drawers! I am officially going to be designing for her! YEAH! She has the most amazing stamps and they are just up my alley! It will probably be close to a month before I get any new rubber, but I tell ya, I can't wait! The Queen's Dresser Drawers stamps really are delicious and I saw a quick peek of things to come, very exciting!

Sooo....of course I had to go out for awhile to shop to celebrate! I know, I know, I am sick right? LOL....I know you all understand though! I went to Michael's and they had the new clear stamps in, and I thought I should pick some extra's up for BLOG BLING! Yup, that's my new name for Blog Candy! I have to give the credit to Catherine though, she thought up the name, and said I could use it! lol

I have 4 sets of the new clear stamps and the Cuttlebug Formal Squares little embossing folders to send out to one lucky person! The Promise

This card is for my best friend who recently lost her father. She has been in my thoughts constantly and I wish there was something I could do for her, but I am too far away. So I am sending her this card for when she gets back home. I thought the saying was perfect. If you can't read it clearly is says " It's the simple joys, the simple pleasures the heart remembers and dearly treasures." I think that says it all. The main image is from Paperbag Studios, and the flourish is from POD. Distressed the edges of the card with Tim Holtz distress inks, tea dye. Not sure where I got the embellishments from! lol...The papers used on this card are all Cosmo Cricket...I just love their papers!
This card was totally inspired by Deborah. She did a card quite like this one and I loved it, so borrowed some of her ideas! Thank you Deborah!

Thanks for dropping by,

Doodle This

Wow, I think I am the only person that doesn't own this set, and I just LOVE it! I borrowed this set from Deborah (thank you!), and had fun creating with it last night, even though I have been sick! I first stamped the flower on pink shimmer paper 2 times, then painted over with a bit of twinkling H2O's. When that dried, I put stickles on all the little dots on the flowers. I then stamped the vine on white shimmer c/s and colored it in with tombow markers. Then I stamped the verse on a piece of white shimmer and added a couple flowers, and coloured them in with tombows as well and put stickles in the centers. All I had to do now was attach my big flower, and I did that with Mrs. Glue and adhered a big crystal as well to the center. I just love this card, it's so cheery and the colours soothing! I was actually trying to make this into an acetate card, but just couldn't figure out how to attach without showing glue somewhere, but I will figure that out eventually! lol

Thanks for coming by!

Tagged Again....

I have been tagged again by Julie . I am to name 7 unknown facts about myself! lol...Only 7?? LOL Here I go:

1. I eat my popcorn with a spoon (hate getting my fingers greasy)!! lol

2. I can't stamp in my space unless it is clean and organized. So if I made a mess last time I have to clean it up first! lol

3. I can't eat oatmeal or eat raw tomatoes, the texture of them in my mouth grosses me out.

4. I love the smell of coffee and sometimes make a small pot just to smell that aroma, but I hate the taste of it.

5. I don't like the dark.

6. I am deathly afraid of spiders.

7. I will not go in a restaurant by myself, I like the person to go with me or meet me outside.

Hmm...I must sound a bit nutty! But hey, that's me! LOL I think most everyone I know has told 7 things about themselves already, but if you are reading and haven't, I am tagging you!!

I am off to stamp a bit! Have a great evening!

Glamour

On Wednesday night, I had some of the ladies over to stamp! It was so great to see what everyone was creating and the different styles! Julie, Louise and Val came over. I only got one card partially done, and finished it last night. I received the beautiful woman stamp as a RAK from Sheila, and have used her card she made as inspiration. I did a reverse mask as she did to put flowers on her dress, and glittered in a few spots as well. I feel bad for not coming up with my own ideas, but sheesh, Sheila's work is gorgeous, I don't think I could come up with anything nicer after seeing her card! lol...Thank you so much Sheila for the stamps, and your beautiful card!

I am having a SU Party on Tuesday night! I just received the new catalogue yesterday and have my wish list started already! I really need a couple sets....have you all seen Baroque Motifs?? Now that is GORGEOUS! urgh.....there goes my paycheck! LOL

Anyway, I am off to work! Have a great day everyone! And I hope to have more to share with you later this evening! Oh yeah, I will also try to take a better picture tonight and change the pic, it's not the best! LOL

Ok, here goes! One of my many most embarassing momemts...lol

While living in Calgary, I was asked out on a date by a Police Officer. He was such a cutie, and I was SOOOO nervous about going out with him. He took me out for a beautiful dinner, then asked if I would like to go see a movie, I said sure. We got to the theatre and were getting out of the car, and OMGosh, I slammed the door shut, ON MY FINGERS!!!! I was crying so hard, and I think I screamed! He came running over, and first reaction, tried to pull my fingers out, he then realized that wouldn't happen and had to UNLOCK and OPEN the door to get them out! He asked if I was going to be ok, I said sure, as I am wiping my tears away...lol So we get in the theatre, and I get a cup of ice to put my fingers in, and we go start watching the movie. About 1/3 of the way thru he had a look at my fingers, and decided he best take me to the hospital. Fun fun....I broke 2 fingers....lol Nice first date hey? I was mortified that I had done with on a date with a COP! lol Good news though, we ended up seeing each other for quite awhile....lol...so it wasn't all THAT bad! lol

Can't wait to hear more of your stories!

Tuesday

Yeah, I really did stamp today!!

LOL....How often do I say I am going to stamp, then something comes up? OFTEN! lol...But today I really did get to stamp! I made 4 cards (well, 5 if you count the one I am going to pitch....it's bad...lol). I did 2 cutesy ones and 2 more my typical cards! I have to say it felt so good to get back to it today. I had no idea I missed it as much as I had. I just want to keep going...ahhh...but gotta work in the morning, so best not be doing that! I also didn't use purple or pink today...now how amazing is that! lol....Oh be nice Holly....lol
I also wanted to say thank you to Paula W. Paula does such amazing cards and she has inspired me in so many ways. I didn't realize I had made 2 of these cards using the same stamps and papers as she did, that means her cards really stuck in my head! They are still different than hers, but I just noticed this and thought I should point that out! lol
I will give stamp credits tomorrow evening. I am going to check my email and pick out a stamping magazine and read for a bit before falling asleep! lol
Thanks for stopping by!

I was back home in Vernon, B.C. for a couple weeks! My youngest son graduated, he finished school in February, but it was his official graduation at the end of May. It was a beautiful day, everything was perfect! My camera was giving me some grief so I don't have any of him in his cap and gown, will get those from the school. But here are some pics of the special day and of both my boys, Mike (the oldest) and Shawn (my youngest). Also a pic of my Dad Mom. I can't believe how much warmer it was there than it is back east! Their flowers were in full bloom, and we didn't even have leaves on our trees yet! lol....But there were leaves when I arrived back home! I had the best time ever spending time with my boys and family....I hope to go back soon to see them! Mike lives in Fort McMurray, AB, and Shawn is living in Vernon for now, so it's harder to get to see them both at the same time, but what can you do! I will have to make more trips! LOL

Miss You

I know I have been slack on my blog, life has been busy! I am planning on stamping all day though, so hopefully I will have more to share with you later today! I also was away visiting my family out in BC for a couple weeks, and have a few pics to share with you! I promise to get on that later this afternoon after stamping! lol

This is a really simple card I made to do in a class. I am going to be teaching 2 harder cards, so this will be the last card and the fastest on to make! I have to say I am loving the Hero Arts birds! I need more....lol...yeah like I NEED another stamp! lol....It's a sickness I tell ya! lol I painted in the bird with radiant pearls, so it shimmers very nicely irl. I also used the cuttlebug for the background and one of the scalloped circle punches, the next size down from the biggest! lol I completely forget to scan the cards I made, but Dejah scanned this one for me and sent it along. Thanks Dejah!

I sure have missed you all, and happy to be back in the land of blogging once again! LOL

Have a great morning!

Hero Arts Trifold Cards

Morning Everyone,

I bought this Hero Arts stamp a couple months ago, and just didn't get around to using it yet! So yesterday I played a bit. I have never made a trifold card before, and kept goofing up the dimensions, wasted alot of paper! LOL....But in the end it all worked out! The patterned paper is from The Paper Loft, I am loving the polka dots. I stamped the flower on white c/s, then on the patterned paper, and cut out the petals and layered them over top with 3d foam tape. A brad from K & Co. is the center of the flower. The card does line up properly, but I guess I didn't have the ribbon tight enough for the photo! I have to say, I have been seeing this stamp used alot lately, and some gorgeous cards made with it, one of them must have inspired me to buy the stamp, and make this card!

My camera and I are starting to get along a BIT better....I have been practicing alot more, in hopes of learning how to take a decent picture! lol...I took a pic of this card as it would never scan well with the layering. I will get there! LOL

I have another card using different papers, and some more cards to upload later! Thanks for hanging in there with me everyone, I know it's slow going for me right now! I really appreciate your patience!

Have a wonderful day!
:)
